As the Fall flu season begins, the World Health Organization, WHO, has reported that the number of global Covid cases and deaths are on the rise over the last 2 months.
After weeks of steady decline, Europe has seen a rise in Covid-19 cases for the last three weeks, though cases across every other region in the world are falling, the World Health Organization said.
Through last week, nearly 3 million new Covid cases were reported worldwide. This is an increase of about 4% from the previous week, with European countries leading the largest growth at 18%. As Covid cases and deaths are on the rise as a whole, the United States is continuing to do more to make sure the surge does not happen.
