As the United States lifts international travel restrictions to Europe, a latest surge in Covid-19 cases should be a warning sign to the U.S. and other countries about the dangers that still are present with this outbreak. As the U.S. takes note from Europe’s Covid surge, the realities that the virus is not slowing is prevalent.

Europe has experienced more than a 50% increase in new coronavirus cases since last month. The jump is so concerning that the World Health Organization (WHO) warned the continent that the worst is still to come, predicting more than another half of a million deaths by February 2022.
